Morning sun rises

above the mountain top

opportunities for adventure

no time to stop

 

Time to be dormant

on a winter day

it’s summer now

time to play

 

A new adventure

by the river edge

there is a rope 

swinging over the ledge

 

Splashing in the water

laughter all around

the rope swings continuously

jumping without bounds

 

On to the canoe

down the river rapids

such a thrill

never a habit

 

The day continues

picnic in the sun

eating wonderful food

this day is fun

 

The sun is setting

time to be sleeping again

filled with dreams

till the next adventure begins
