A friend of mine passed away yesterday after an extended illness. Mildred Lewis was 91 years old, and an example of a life well lived. She will be missed but the legend lives on in her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
A celebration occurs
the reunion of family and friends
smiles and hugs
the journey never ends
In life a legend
cheering on all Mississippi State teams
a cheerleader in the 50’s
living a young woman’s dreams
Next came marriage
then a family to be loved
cherishing time with young children
gifts from above
Working with others
to make the world a better place
words of encouragement
sometimes taking a cake
Serving the Lord
an example everyday
never preaching
loving the way
A privilege to know you
can still hear the laughter
smiles on your face
glowing in the hereafter
May you rest in peace
legendendary friend
those who love you
your spirit did not end
