Living in the present
so many things to do
life has potential
some days not a clue
Lying on this course
in the morning sunshine
fish jumping near me
a fine place to dine
A sound in the distance
scrumptious smells in the air
face lifted upward
eyes staring with a glare
Opportunities abound
a bird flies by
diving into the water
returning to the sky
Glancing around
comfortable in the present
head back down
the moon is crescent
Time to slip away
rain falling down
day turning to night
creatures are abound
Living in the moment
having fulfilled the potential of the day
clouds giving me cover
as I retire in the bay
