Little blue bug

how cute are you

what is your purpose

is there something to do

 

Running around

on dead wood

always busy

sometimes misunderstood

 

Decomposition is your purpose

not picayune at all

helping to provide nourishment

when trees die and fall

 

Not intending to harm

stinging when somethings in the way

trying not to be swatted

on a summer day

 

Beautiful to some

beneficial to some crops

a bug’s life is full

not having time to stop
