A microbe is unique
existing in all of life
can it have power
in the midst of strife
So tiny
most time unseen
yet it is powerful
its senses are keen
Adapting to conditions
that cause others to die
making the most of the environment
in the water and sky
Something so small
can cause a human to fall
plagues and illness
having so much gall
Beneficial too
this small microbe
having healing powers
used across the globe
A lesson for me
never to judge the meek
everything has power
including what we deem weak
