Candid picture
taken out in the bay
calmly observing his reflection
before flying away
A candid conversation
between the reflection and him
about how life is going
not simple things on a whim
What are my goals
where do I go from here
are goals being met
do I have something to cheer
Calm surroundings
time to build a nest
plenty of food
a place to rest
There are friends
to help in time of need
those to share laughter
advice to take heed
My goals are met
life is extremely good
taking time to explore
the wonder of this neighborhood
Living in the moment
I am at peace
marveling at the world
with blessings increased
