The cardinal sings with bliss
on top the tree real high
a tune for himself and others
from dawn till nigh
A tune for calling a mate
whispering romance in the wind
the comfort of companionship
a relationship that will not end
A tune for happiness
joy for all that hear
delightful high and low sounds
a feast for the ears
A tune of gratitude
for the trees, sun, and air
even for the rain
thunderstorms with a flair
A bliss full tune for life
the gift to fly and soar
gliding on the wind
a thrill forevermore
Meditation ends
a wonderful way to give
flying and singing through the day
a great way to live

I know I am just repeating myself now, but this is wonderful. You’ve mastered the poetic side of writing and you express it so well. 😀

Such a wonderful poem and what a stunning bird, we don’t have such a bird here, lovely to read and see.
Thank you. The cardinals here are more abundant in the summer but a few stay through the winter. They are beautiful birds. Thanks for reading.
So lovely. Well done!
