Sitting on the bank
listening to the silence in my soul
wind coming off the water
softly sounding bold
The water ripples
causing waves upon the blue
there is color all around
everything seems new
Rocks filled with color
grass blowing in the wind
in the silence
there are goosebumps on my skin
A limb alone
in the water close to the bank
providing a perch and food
most of it has sank
The sky above
beautiful in its tranquility
blue without a cloud
so much humility
Now part of the land
my soul is at ease
so much comfort
in this light silent breeze
