Love is a theory

within my inner core

observing the world 

never a bore

 

Observing the sky

fresh air amid the clouds and sun

nourishing to this body

especially the lungs

 

Quiet contemplation

a colorful world to see

green forest in the canyon

the magic speaks to me

 

Another wonder

an opening to the heart

symbolized by a canyon hole

joy filling from the start

 

The theory of love

is found everywhere

from the core of our being

with much to spare

 

Living life in the moment

adventure at every turn

spreading love and kindness

the eternity that we yearn

 

Meditation ends

leaving the inner holy place

thankful for God’s love

in this Earthly space
