God used the quill

to create the universe

history in the making

verse by verse

 

He created nature

beauty to see

then a caretaker

you and me

 

He gave us adventure

then wonder

a beautiful Earth

to ponder

 

He provided for

all of our needs

it comes in all forms

in the flowers, water, and trees

 

Taking care of Earth

a task we are charged

sharing it with others

instead of living large

 

A quill is used

to write historical things

Earth is our home

a place to spread our wings
