Blue bird
building a nest
loving quills
placed for rest
Eggs are laid
babies soon to come
sitting patiently
till the time is done
New life emerges
a sight to see
chirping the day long
for a bird to feed
The time comes
time to fly away
leaving the nest
making their own way
The house is cleaned
a new cycle begins
the house is filled
with eggs again
The cycle of life
our journey continues
observing renewal
in each season’s venue
