Cruising along in my kayak
enjoying the pace
beautiful colors in the sky
mist of my face
Normally adversaries
thin fog surrounds me
being burned off by the sun
allowing me to be safe and free
Blending with the sun
a beautiful picture forms
rich colors highlight life
an exception to the norm
As the fog lifts
birds begin to sing
rapids provide harmony
sounds of a waterfall ring
Above the mountain
there is a rainbow
sparkles in the rocks
continuing the flow
Nature flows
as the day progresses
cleansing the spirit
taking away all life’s stresses
