Outdoor fairs

so many treasures to find

hidden among the lights

is a gold mine

Candy apples

or perhaps cotton candy

chicken on a stick

all taste so dandy

Riding high

up on the ferris wheel

on the top of the world

the feeling is surreal

Throwing a ball

a game of chance

a man guessing weights

clowns that dance

Homemade goods

jams and dress

prizes awarded

each is a success

Walking down the midway

savoring the sweet smells

fun and excitement

adventure that went well
