The journey is long
crossing a cold snow bridge trail
a pilgrimage
to cure all ails
At the top
is a magnanimous soul
radiating solar energy
a cure from days of old
The spirit calls to them
testing their devotion
each struggles to continue
strong in emotion
Growing in faith
an important prep
a cold wind blows
difficulty with each step
Reaching the top
there is a light
a healing pool
reflections are bright
Taking the water
each pilgrim is healed
receiving a blessing
and a protective shield
Going down the mountain
strength to endure life’s hardships
their soul’s are at peace
it was a worthy trip
