A simple vision

looking forward to the day

standing on the bank

relaxing on the bay

 

The sun is rising

time to take flight

soaring through the clouds

the wind is just right

 

A fish jumps

time to take a dive

capturing breakfast

great to be alive

 

Returning to the nest

there are young ones to feed

plenty of fish to go around

satisfying every need

 

Taking flight again

enjoying the wind

joining others

great to have friends

 

The day is done

calmness as the sun sets

enjoying life’s simple journey

time for a night’s rest
