Spring brings a redux
of all forms of life
waking from a winter’s sleep
geese, squirrels, and other wildlife
Bringing antics
associated with the young
so much laughter
some are high strung
Watching the water
goslings learn to swim
playing follow the leader
diving on a whim
Seeing a fish jump
their eyes fill with wonder
attempting to catch one
missing as it goes under
Marching back to the nest
it’s time for a nap
mother tucking them in
under her wing wrap
Wonderful spring day
redux in the park
relaxing as children play
listening to the dog’s bark
