Wrinkles in the water
spanning across time
do things need to change
or is it sublime
The bird waits
resting quietly in the wake
small waves engulf him
causing his feathers to shake
Beauty in the morning
enjoying the view
timeless characteristics
gives him a clue
The bayou is timeless
water changing the landscape
new plants and animals
causing a wrinkle to its shape
An artist captures the moment
never to come again
quiet and serene
a place to begin
The wind dies down
the water is still
another moment to be captured
whenever the artist will
