Meditating in the sun
transcending time and space
my spirit arose
taking me to another place
There is beauty
peace and laughter
so may souls
in the hereafter
God met with me
quizzing me about what I learned
tell me about your life
what lessons did you discern
Did you examine nature
and learn all it had to teach
did you help others
all was within your reach
Is it time for your
Earthly journey to end
have you spent the time wisely
making a new friend
I said that there
was still so much to do
God sent me back
to work till the job is through
Meditation over
time to seize the day
learning and spreading kindness
my spirit is on the way
