Sunset over the horizon
end of a beautiful day
sky filled with colors
each with something to say
Bright yellow
reminder of joy within
a restful night ahead
hidden dream on a whim
Pink
from a palette paint
soul expressing wonder
as the light grows faint
Light blue
spreading across the sky
opening to the universe
with the coming of the nigh
Black
the finale of twilight
planets and stars twinkling
what a beautiful sight
The horizon is dark
the moon is bright
the soul is resting
till morning’s first light
