The sun blinked upon the water

in an instant there was a crystal

revealing an inner world 

it was mystical

 

There stood a rainbow 

blue, yellow, and pink

the beauty sparkled

giving me an instant to think

 

The inner world showed wonder

mystical events for the eye

rivers and mountains

things that I had walked by

 

There was life

tiny microbes everywhere

moving constantly

leaving no room to spare

 

There was peace

in this inner world

everything had a place

all creation was unfurled

 

Then with the blink of an eye

the sun moved away

the vision was gone

the droplet going on its way
