The sun shining across the mountain
promise of a brand new day
brilliantly radiating light
beckoning the way
Observing each ray
as it spotlights the plants and trees
rainbows in the dew
spectacular new colors to see
The dark path
now illuminated with light
the journey continues
with great anticipation and might
There is movement
in the plants surrounding the path
a gleaming eye
curiosity instead of wrath
A deer moves across
beautiful and hopeful
the sun captures its movement
elegant and graceful
Meditation ends
my soul filled with delight
the journey continues
as the river reflects the light
