Beautiful morning
thankful for this day
atmospheric festivities around
time for a holiday
Thanksgiving is near
counting blessings around
observing the colors
beauty unbound
A land of plenty
watching a squirrel gather nuts
amist the colorful leaves
a hiding place under the dust
Coming across a pecan tree
filled with a bountiful harvest
time for a sweet pie
from nature’s market
More thanksgiving
near the fresh water’s edge
adding apples from a nearby tree
fall flavor with an edge
Now to the picnic area
filled with family and friends
joining hands for a prayer
Thanksgiving without an end
