Climbing the stairs of life
with a penchant to live
kindness and love to others
beautiful to give
Obstacles to climbing the stairs
sometimes painful and hard
lesson is in the journey
have come so far
A helping hand reaches out
the journey eases
on to the next stairway
confidence increases
Seeing another struggling
offering my hand along the way
reaching the next level
continuing to pray
The penchant for life continues
there is much joy
communicating with others
more love to employ
Coming to the top
there is music in the air
the journey is complete
people rejoicing everywhere
Meditation ends
the start of a new day
thanking God for his blessings
new journey begins today
