The Earth spins on its axis
synchronized with the sun
night and day separated
each has a run
The day is filled with light
nourishing the land
trees and grass grow
beauty so grand
The rivers and oceans
sparkle in the light
sending messages of hope
especially if the light is bright
The sun begins to set
time for darkness to fall
some of the wildlife rests
while other creatures begin to crawl
God’s creation is in sync
a perfect artisan
rotating around light and dark
with everything in His plan
Our lives are synchronized
around the night and day
living in harmony
in such an unique way
