Beautiful red roses
on a spring sunny morn
lusting to bloom
the landscape to adorn
Nature burst forth
with blooms in the spring
birds and bees buzz around
with songs to sing
Summer comes next
with fruit from their lust
apples, pears, and berries
our taste buds try not to bust
The leaves are falling
a crisp breeze in the air
more of nature’s harvest
stored in a squirrel’s lair
Winter comes
nature takes a nap
till spring comes again
this year is a wrap
