Hole in a canyon
gate to another time
the planet is living
the sun continues to shine
On this beautiful morning
meditation listening to sound
the gate is calling
birds singing in the round
The gate tells of a story
from long ago
the river was raging
carving as it goes
Things being created
God has a plan
sounds of life
from the river and land
It is peaceful now
gate continuing the story
calm changes in nature
no need to worry
Meditation is over
time to return to life’s gate
my soul is nourished
a story to relate
