The path of life is long

many different adventures

transitions at every stage

happy and sad ventures

 

Looking back

and moving ahead

frightening at first

maybe hide in a shed

 

There is light

the day is anew

Lollipops and candy

culinary comforts for a few

 

Moving forward

a new transition begins

filled with love and laughter

help from many friends

 

Our path is long

as we cross each bridge

loving one another

connections at the ridge

 

Thankful to crossover

to a new world

loving one another

new beauty to unfurl
