The duck sailed easily
swimming in the pond
life is calm and serene
in the distance beyond
The sun rises
the day is new
abundance in life
happiness is the clue
Swimming contently
slowly in the bend
taking in beautiful sights
hoping it will never end
He is joined by others
fun is at hand
sharing community
listening to the band
Living in harmony
enjoying the day
watching the people
on the bay
Eating small morsels
in the water bend
life is wonderful
resting till the end
The sun sets
done is the day
swimming to the banks
