The river has rapids
like a magnet we are drawn in
seeking adventures
from the forces within
We paddle down the rapids
not thinking ahead
danger awaits us
where we are being led
Life’s issues are like this
leading us down a road
danger is lurking
with things untold
There is a refuge when we
slow down the pace
praying to God
seeking His grace
We are back upright
all is well
we are now safe
with stories to tell
Our souls are nourished
the journey continues
living life to the fullest
in each new venue
