Ordinarily in the morning
I take a walk
filling my mind
with stodgy talk
Sun is shining bright
with a beatitude of the day
inspiration from above
on the pathway
Dew sparkling
with blurs surrounding the leaves
something spectacular
new life to cleave
Between the leaves
there is a nest
two birds bound together
taking a rest
Spring is in the air
soon there will be eggs
these love birds working together
feeding little heads
Miracles of life
songs to be sung
joy to be felt
our spirits are young
