The sun is rising
there is snow on the ground
a paragon of a snow angel
its sparkling is profound
Sitting in front of the fire
in my wooly pajamas
warm and reading a novel
away from the dramas
Candles are lit
instrumental jazz is playing
now absorbed in the novel
the plot is amazing
Time slows down
as day turns to night
drifting into a dream
such a delight
Spirit is calm
enjoying the peace
paradise on a winter day
a wonderful retreat
