In the beauty of spring

trees are in full bloom

a honeybee adheres

to an earthly room

Each bloom is

filled with grizzle

working in harmony

nectar continues to drizzle

Summer comes

blooms become fruit

the promise of bounty

from each root

A wonderful gift

each honeybee gives

important part of the chain

purposefully he lives

Sadly they are disappearing

without rhyme or reason

needing help

each season

Making bee gardens

planting trees

using less pesticides

will help keep bees living free
