Out of the depths

of the ocean I stood

in pristine condition

wanting to be good

of the life I have led

time to take account

a moment I dread

Some moments in Heaven

and others in hell

having done my best

till the sound of the bell

In the water

smiting the waves

taking one last moment

trying to be brave

A loving voice calls

telling me not to be afraid

expressing love

for the service I gave

A job well done

for the lessons of this life

time to come home

to a place with no strife

Peaceful and happy

among those I love

an eternity of serenity

a gift from above
