The spartan accommodations
were worth the view
a meadow picnic
blooms are brand new
Opening a bottle of wine
vintage with class
telling mendacious stories
rolling in the grass
Small animals walk by
fascinated at the site
some coming close
hoping for a bite
Laughter continues
running barefoot in the grass
acting like children
allowing the day to pass
Candle burning
providing our light
time to go home
settle in for the night
Rain begins to fall
weaving a lullaby
having a pleasant dream
happy this nigh
