Tiptoeing on the ocean floor

surrounded by gloomy thoughts

knowing at any given time

my journey will be for naught

In the constant darkness

ocean pressure blocks my way

what was I thinking

leaving the light of day

A wonderous world

filled with strange creatures

some with colors

others with unique features

Turning on a light

exploring some coral

schools of fish swim by

the experience visual and aural

Moving along

a dolphin wants to play

swimming along with him

then moving along my way

Rising to the surface

the sun is shining bright

leaving the dark wonderous world

basking in the light

Riding a wave

on my way home

worlds joined together

never alone

Two different worlds

all enjoying life

each filled with unique creatures

living in harmony and not strife
