Across the vast mountains

the sun shines brightly

creating warmth generously

not to be taken lightly

The bonanza of trees

the whispering of the wind

an example of harmony

gracious and kind

A mirror image

created in the lake

clouds gathering close

thunder begins to shake

Harmony has shifted

violence in the air

loud thunder with rain

lightening with a flair

Trees sway and tumble

rocks begin to slide

cascading in the water

nowhere to hide

Suddenly its over

the storm moves on

the harmony returns

a new image is drawn

Renewal of the land

continuing to delight

providing to all that live on it

a blessing from God’s sight
