A stellar performance

thunderstorm moving across the land

rain coming down in sheets

lightening ostentatiously joins the band

 

Strikes to the left

then the thunder roars

moving effortlessly

the land craves more

 

Rain coming down hard

the river moves beyond its banks

gushing torrid waters

causing some landscape to be blank

 

Another lightening strike

hitting metal full force

electricity is present everywhere

power changing course

 

Wild beauty in the sky

an electric light show

the full force of nature

causing land and sky to glow

 

The storm ends

rainbow in the sky

the finish to a fine performance

the sun is on standby
