The incipient drop
fell down the rocks
carving a path
bypassing any road blocks
Others began to follow
reshaping the landscape
cascading rapidly
causing debris to escape
Down below
rapids begin to form
mighty sounds erupt
fed by a thunderstorm
There are formations
being carved into the rock
a natural artist
creating a landmark
There is much power
in each water drop
nourishment for the land
where the trees and bushes stop
Soon wildlife
come to explore the falls
food for birds and animals
fresh water for all
An incipient water drop
the power of one
the ability to change things
wonder to be done
