Walking through the forest
observing the plants and trees
infected by their beauty
a pleasure to see
Golden honeysuckle
growing on the vine
white and yellow
scent luscious to nose of mine
Swaying in the wind
bees drop by
taking in the nectar
like a sweet pie
Observing squirrels
jumping from tree to tree
infecting me with laughter
as they play with glee
One with the forest
taking it all in
infected with joy
spirit dancing within
Meditation over
welcoming the new day
sun shining brightly
going on my way
