The pedigree of the land
is filled with beauty
every form of life
has a duty
There is a stream
giving life to all around
gently flowing
making a sweet sound
The trees
have a story to tell
of times good and bad
sometimes under a spell
Clouds fill the sky
filtering the sun
rain coming down
causing the river to run
Birds, frogs, and crickets
fill the land and trees
singing songs of happiness
enjoying the breeze
A rich pedigree
continuing through the ages
enriching the planet
through all life’s stages
