Regal in the water
on a summer day
the egret flaunts its beauty
standing in the waterway
A reflection so clear
walking down the bank
picturesque in its beauty
the egret’s movement swank
Enjoying the moment
the egret captures a fish
swinging it in the air
enjoying his dish
Spreading his wings
the egret begins to bathe
splashing in the water
creating small waves
Finished now
the egrets starts to fly
observing the world around
enjoying the wind in the sky
