Watching the sun set

fretting over the events of the day

wondering about tomorrow

beginning to pray

 

The world is a mess

oh what to do

needing an answer

trouble has made a coup

 

Then it happened

the Lord spoke to me

there are colors in the sky

answers for me to see

 

Even in the darkness

there is comfort and light

songs around me

the moon is in sight

 

Take comfort in the wind

there is gentle breeze

calmness surrounding you

listen on your knees

 

You are never alone

in the morning the sun will shine

the promise of a new day

in faith you will dine
