The sun warms the land
birds bathing in the bay
all is well
on this warm winter day
Suddenly there is a loud noise
booming in the sky
a quick cold wind
wildlife fleeing by
Thunder accompanied by lightening
the rain pounding down
a world of wonder appears
filled with sound
In the river
the drops sound like a drum
creating small waterfalls
then sounding like a hum
Small bugs appear
some having light
brilliant in color
a spectacular sight
As quickly as it began
the storm suddenly ends
the birds return
spring is around the bend
