Glancing across the canyon

a question comes to mind

how do we know God is with us

that I am not left behind

 

Conjuring up images

of how He expresses himself

looking into the environment

nature on a shelf

 

There is life 

across the canyon plain

rocks, trees, and animals

their life to explain

 

The clouds in the sky

beautiful and  giving

spreading calmness

then rain for the living

 

The river flowing

carving a beautiful masterpiece

an artistic endeavor

a magnificent feat

 

God is everywhere

I can see Him now

in the ecosystem of the canyon

my spirit screams wow

 

Meditation over

my soul is nourished

exploring this great land

where creation continues to flourish
