Tending to the universe
a difficult task indeed
keeping our Father busy
with the questions of His seed
There are planets
swirling through the sky
each on its axis
never asking why
There are stars in the heavens
reflecting light from the sun
some shining brightly
others projecting little to none
Then there are humans
a lively bunch
running around the planet
creating drama before lunch
Our Father gave us a planet
in this wonderful universe
filled it to supply our needs
wonder to quench our thirst
Each person has a gift
to be tended
if we nurture it
it will blossom as our Father intended
