The tree permits
the turtle to share its space
laying in the sun
filled with God’s grace
Enjoying the
coolness of the morn
it is a wonderful life
where the turtle was born
A peaceful environment
sharing with other wildlife
a nature filled park
there is little strife
The turtle is startled
there is laughter on the trail
he jumps in the water
a leaf becomes a veil
Again feeling safe
he crawls on the log
now sharing the space
with a frog
The park is peaceful
nature welcomes all in
a cool spring day
to be enjoyed within
