The water sparkles

under the morning sun

the sky above radiates

during a meditative run

 

The sparkle continues

on the dew of the leaf

a silent new universe

its life is brief

 

Wonderful aroma 

is in the air

a freshness comes

from a rain’s flair

 

A sparkling delight

radiates from the mountain top

the promise of a new beginning

pausing a moment to stop

 

Grateful for the morning

a new goal to begin

each day a new opportunity

there is no end

 

Meditation over

admiring the beauty of the landscape

my soul is nourished

tranquility by the lake
