Taking a snippet of water
from the downward falls
observing a small universe
a tale for us all
The droplets hold
miracles of life
surviving the elements
whatever the strife
Picking up some leaves
being made pure by the rocks
such power in a droplet
requiring some thought
Small microbes
life in a universe of its own
flowing through the world
never alone
Each droplet
a snippet in the flow
significant in its own right
spirit begins to glow
Such wonder
an important part of the Earth
nourishing life
important from birth
Meditation over
rejoining the day
splashing in the water
on my merry way
