Beauty in the universe

born of a cosmic egg

life is teeming

living on the edge

 

Stars and planets

light up the sky

mystery is abound

excitement for the eye

 

A question

as old as time

how did it begin

was it all sublime

 

Does life on Earth

imitate the beginning

birth from an egg

is it all living

 

The universe

calls to our souls

whispering the answers

we all want to know

 

The universe expands

as our knowledge grows

more things to discover

engrossed in the show

 

Beauty in the sky

enriches the soul

growing in light

smiling as we go
