A gentle stillness in the air
away from the cacophony of the city
my spirits rising as
happy thoughts replace those of pity
The gentle flowing stream
slowly rippling through the air
a calming nature’s song
with a nurturing flair
Hearing cicadas now
chirping songs of old
having a final concert
before the air turns cold
Spotting a deer
not so far away
standing in natural beauty
giving its tail a sway
Peaceful now
absorbing the calmness within
feeling the comforts
of a small cool wind
Meditation over
picking up a fall leaf
understanding all that is wonderful
if we choose to believe

Very pretty poetry.
Thank you.
You nailed with the hammer without making any cacophony sound.
Thank you. I have always preferred the soft sounds of the outdoors. Thanks for reading.
Beautiful!
Thank you.
